Floren'S Basil Pasta.
- 8 to 10 fresh basil leaves.
- olive oil to taste .
- fresh crushed garlic to taste
- red crushed pepper to taste.
- 3 or 4 medium fresh tomatoes, chopped.
- 1 pound boiled pasta(spaguetty,fetuchini or angel hair)
- grated romano/ parmesan cheese.
- salt, pepper to taste.
- start by boiling the pasta in boiling ligthly salted water. While the noodles are cooking heat half of the oil(about 4 tablespoons)in a skillet and add the fresh diced tomatoes cooking for about 5 minutes , add the fresh crushed garlic and let cook for another 4 minutes until tender.Add salt and pepper (crushed red pepper flakes is optional),noodles and fresh chopped basil. Stir fry for about a minute to mix and taste .Turn off heat and add the rest of the olive oil(about 5 tablespoons)to taste
- serve with gratted parmesano/romano cheese .
