Chocolate Royale Cheesecake

  1. Preheat oven to 325*F.
  2. Mix cookie crumbs and butter; press into bottom of 9-inch spring-form pan. Bake 10 minutes.
  3. Beat cream cheese, sugar, flour, and vanilla with electric mixer until well blended. Add chocolate, liqueur, and eggs; mix just until blended.
  4. Pour over crust.
  5. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until center is almost set. Run knife around rim of plan to loosen cake; cool before removing rim of pan.
  6. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.
  7. At serving, garnish with sifted powdered sugar and mixed berries, if desired.
  8. If using a dark non-stick spring-form pan: Prepare as directed, reducing oven temperature to 300*F and increasing cheesecake baking time to 60-65
  9. minutes until center is almost set.
