Chicken Paprika
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. paprika
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tomato, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 3/4 c. chicken stock
- 1 (3 lb.) fryer chicken, cut into pieces
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/2 c. light sour cream
- 1/4 c. light cream
- 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
- Saute butter, onions and garlic.
- Add paprika, salts, tomato, green pepper and stock.
- Cover and cook for 10 minutes.
- Add chicken and cover.
- Cook for 40 minutes at medium-high heat.
- Add water or more stock if necessary.
- Add flour with light cream slowly; stir and cook until you have a thick gravy.
- Add sour cream (do not let boil) and serve.
- Serves 4.
