Crock Pot Wings
- Fresh Chicken wings enough to fill your crock pot. I have a 6qt and can fit about 3 pounds of wings in it. Frozen wings work but you need to thaw them
- equal parts of
- (For 3# of wings I use 4Tbl)
- Chili Powder
- Garlic Salt
- Seasoned Salt
- Black Pepper
- Red Pepper flakes
- Corn Starch
- Emeril's Blend Cajun Seasoning
- Blend with equal parts 1/2 of above spices(for 3# wings I use 2 Tbl)
- Curry Powder
- Hot Salt or (Salt and ground Chipotle Pepper at 2 - 1)
- Dried Orange Peel
- 1 large Seal able bag
- Make sure your wings are prepped and ready. I rinse mine under cold water and place them in a colander to drain
- Mix all Spices in a bowl add 1/2 the mixture to your sealable bag with 1/2 of the wings
- Shake to coat wings
- as you remove them from the bag layer them in the crock pot for best fit
- Repeat with remaining Spice mix and wings.
- Cook on High for 2 hours - and can be kept warm on warm or low for an additional 4 hours. After that the wings tend to dry out.
