Shrimp And Crabmeat Au Gratin
- 1 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1/4 c. flour
- 2 Tbsp. seasoned cornflake crumbs
- 1 pkg. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 cans king crab meat
- 1 can artichoke hearts
- 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 2 Tbsp. finely chopped shallots
- pepper
- 3/4 c. milk
- 2/3 c. dry white wine
- 1/2 Tbsp. butter
- Cook shrimp in salted water for 3 minutes.
- Drain.
- Drain artichokes.
- Preheat oven to 375u0b0.
- Saute mushrooms for 5 minutes in 2 tablespoons butter.
- Saute garlic and shallots for 5 minuets in 2 tablespoons butter.
- Remove and stir in flour and pepper, then stir in milk.
- Bring to boiling, stirring; remove from heat. Add half cheese; stir until melted.
- Stir in wine.
- Drain crabmeat; remove cartilage; flake.
