Spinach & Artichoke Dip
- 1 Cup chopped frozen spinach, thawed
- 1 1/2 Cups chopped frozen artichoke hearts, thawed
- 6 ounces Tofutti (Soy) Cream Cheese
- 1/3 Cup Tofutti (Soy) Better Sour Cream
- 1/3 Cup Grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 3/4 teapoon garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Place spinach and artichokes in 2 cups of water in small pot. Bring to boil for 2 minutes then drain. Allow to cool then squeeze excess water from spinach/artichokes using thick paper towels.
- In a separate bowl, heat cream cheese in microwave for 30 to 60 seconds or until soft and warm.
- Stir in the rest of the ingredients.
- Serve hot or cold with pita chips or in a sourdough bread bowl with sliced bread chunks.
