Festive Cake

  1. Mix and sift flour, sugar, baking soda, salt and cinnamon; stir in almonds.
  2. Beat eggs slightly; combine with oil, almond extract, bananas and undrained pineapple.
  3. Add to dry ingredients; mix thoroughly but do not beat.
  4. Spoon into well oiled 10-inch tube pan.
  5. Bake at 325u0b0 for one hour and 20 to 25 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven; let stand 10 to 15 minutes.
  7. Invert onto wire cake rack; remove pan.
  8. Cool thoroughly before frosting.
