Chinese Chicken Wings

  1. Fold tips of wings to make triangle.
  2. Melt butter in large skillet.
  3. Add wings and onion.
  4. Cook until brown, about 10 minutes.
  5. Drain pineapple juice to make 1 1/4 cups or more liquid. Blend in soy sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, ginger, salt, mace, Tabasco and dry mustard.
  6. Pour over chicken.
  7. Cover.
  8. Simmer 30 minutes.
  9. Baste with liquid once or twice.
  10. Remove wings to hot platter.
  11. Add cold water to cornstarch to make a paste.
  12. Add a little hot sauce to cornstarch mixture.
  13. Then add mixture to sauce in pan to thicken.
  14. Add pineapple chunks just to heat through. Pour over chicken.
  15. Good with rice.
  16. Enjoy!
