Biscuits And Gravy

- 1 cup white flour
- 1 cup wheat flour
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup cream
- 2 tsp. butter
- 1 tsp. melted butter
- Gravy
- 1/2 lb. sausage meat
- 3 Tbsp. white flour
- 1 3/4 cup milk
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper
- In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Combine milk and butter; stir into dry ingredients just until blended. Drop by tbsp. onto greased baking sheet or muffin tins Bake @ 450 deg. 10-12 mins. or until brown.
- 2) Meanwhile, in a saucepan, cook sausage on med. heat until no longer pink. Sprinkle in flour, stirring, until workable. cook for 1 min. stir in salt and pepper. serve over hot biscuits.
