Lasagna
- 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 can (16 oz. size) tomatoes
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 3 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/4 tsp. sweet basil
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1 c. grated Romano cheese or round slices
- 1 carton low-fat cottage cheese
- small box lasagna noodles
- Cook noodles as directed.
- Brown ground chuck, onion and garlic.
- Add next 8 ingredients, cover and simmer 20 minutes.
- In rectangular 1 1/2-quart casserole, put layer of noodles, Mozzarella cheese, sprinkle grated Cheddar cheese, cottage cheese, meat sauce and Romano cheese.
- Repeat once and end with grated Romano cheese.
- Bake at 350u0b0 until bubbly.
- Serves 6 to 8.
