Noodle Casserole
- 4 oz medium noodles, cooked and drained
- 1C. large-curd low fat cottage cheese, drained
- 1C. thick low fat sour cream
- 1/3 C. finely chopped onion
- Sliced mushrooms
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 t. Worcestershire sauce
- 4 drops (or more to taste) Tabasco
- 1 to 2 T. flour
- 1/4 t. salt
- 1/8 t. white pepper
- 1/4 C. buttered fine dry bread-crumbs
- 1.thile noodles are cooking, mix the next six ingredients
- together. Saute the garlic, mushrooms and onions first. Sprinkle with
- a mixture of the flour, salt and pepper.
- 2. Blend cottage-cheese mixture with the cooked noodles;
- turn into a buttered 1-1/2 qt. Casserole. Sprinkle bread
- crumbs over top.
- Heat in a 350 degree oven about 15 minutes or until
- Crumbs are lightly browned.
