Grown Up Grilled Cheese
- White Bread
- Culinary Argan Oil from Dip&Scoop
- 1/2 Red Onion
- 1 Bacon Slab - Get the real deal from the butcher. A thick cut is preferable.
- Aged White Cheddar
- Butter
- Start by chopping the onion.
- Fry the onions with a little olive oil until they start becoming translucent. The sweetness will start to come out.
- When you are done frying the onions, set aside to cool. Mix in 2 tbsp of Culinary Argan Oil and mix.
- Fry the slab of bacon on a pan or in the oven. Cook to your liking.
- In a clean pan, melt the butter over a medium heat. Careful not to burn the butter.
- Place the two pieces of bread on the pan and allow to start toasting. Immediately place the cheese on both sides facing up.
- When the cheese starts to melt, place the bacon and the grilled onions with the Culinary Argan Oil on one piece of bread.
- Check the sides of bread facing down on the pan for the golden toasted color. When your bread is done to your liking, place the piece of bread with just the cheese over the loaded side and allow to fuze.
- Take off the pan, slice in half, and serve warm. Enjoy!
