Diesel'S Baby Back Ribs
- 2 racks of Pork Baby Back Ribs cut in to 3 rib sections.
- 2 cans of Apple juice or cider.
- 1 medium/large chunk of smashed ginger.
- salt.
- 2 Bay leaves
- Homemade glaze (see recipe below)
- Put apple juice and ginger root in heavy gauge stock pot, add ribs and bring to a boil. Once ribs have boiled for 15 minutes reduce apple juice to a simmer and cover for up to 30-45 minutes.
- Glaze:
- In huge bowl add one jar of VH's honey garlic sauce or Strong garlic sauce, 1/2 cup of soys sauce, 1 cup of packed brown sugar, a medium/large chunk of smashed ginger, one whole bunch of chopped green onion (I prefer more), S&P, 2 cloves crushed garlic, 1 cup of golden corn syrup. Mix well and pour over hot ribs in bowl. Keep stiring and tossing to coat. Do not allow ribs to cool completely before placing on hot grill. Carmalize ribs while basting with remaiing sauce over meduim hot grill. Melt in your mouth delicious!
