Lillian'S Creamy Fudge

  1. Boil butter, sugar, milk, cream of tartar, and karo syrup for 5 minutes on medium heat, covered.
  2. Take off the stove, beat in chocolate, and then marshmallow Creme.
  3. After it is all melted and well mixed, put in the vanilla and walnuts.
  4. Beat until it loses its shine, and then put it in a large pan. For easier handling, line the pan with aluminum foil.
  5. Refrigerate and cut when cold.
