Lasagna Maria
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagna noodles
- 1 (1 lb.) mild bulk pork sausage
- 1 (32 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. sliced pepperoni
- 1 (12 oz.) carton Ricotta cheese
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 c. Mozzarella cheese, divided
- Cook noodles according to package directions, omitting salt and then drain.
- Cook sausage until browned, stirring to crumble; set aside.
- Combine egg and next 5 ingredients, stirring well.
- Spread 1/2 cup meat sauce in lightly greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Layer half of Ricotta cheese and 1/3 cup remaining meat sauce. Bake at 375u0b0 for 20 minutes.
- Sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake an additional 5 minutes.
- Yield:
- 6 servings.
