Mock Take 5 Bars
- crust:
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1-11oz. bag Kraft premium caramel bits
- 6 Tablespoons milk
- 1 bag 12-oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 2 cups small pretzel twists
- For crust, cream butter and brown sugar. Then add other ingredients and mix well. Pat into a 9X13 inch. greased pan. Bake crust at 350 degrees for 12 minutes (or until bubbly and beginning to brown).
- Allow crust to cool slightly. Press pretzles lightly into crust. Melt caramel bits and milk over medium heat. Allow caramel to cool slightly in pan. Pour over pretzels. When caramel has cooled, melt chocolate chips with 2 Tablespoons butter over medium heat until melted. Gently pour over caramel layer and spread evenly with a butter knife.
