Jalapeno Poppers

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
  2. 1. Slice jalapenos in half lengthwise. Discard the seeds & veins; rinse.
  3. 2. Combine the cream cheese, mozzarella, cheddar cheese, bacon, salt & chili powder in a bowl; mix well.
  4. 3. Stuff each jalapeno half with 1 tsp of the cream cheese mixture, rounding the top.
  5. 4. Coat with bread crumbs.
  6. 5. Arrange cheese side up in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  7. 6. Bake for 20 minutes for hot poppers, 30 minutes for medium-hot poppers, or 40 minutes for mild poppers.
