Cheesecake Base

  1. Set oven to 350 degrees
  2. Crust:
  3. Mix ingerdients
  4. Bake for 10 minutes at 350
  5. Remove from oven and let cool
  6. Base:
  7. Mix room temp cream cheese with sugar and cornstarch until creamy, scraping bowl as necessary to ensure even mixing.
  8. Blend in 1 egg at a time.
  9. Mix in sour cream and vanilla extract.
  10. Bake in water bath for ~80 min, or until edges are firm and only the center jiggles.
  11. Remove from oven and let cool for 2 hours. Cut around edges to loosen from pan.
  12. Chill in refrigerator over night.
