Oatmeal Butterscotch Bars

  1. Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugars until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs until mixture is light.
  4. Add the vanilla extract, rolled oats and butterscotch chips. Turn into a lightly greased 15 1/4 x 10 1/2-inch baking pan. Bake at 375u0b0 for 20 to 25 minutes or until center of the bars feel firm.
  5. Remove from oven.
  6. Sprinkle with milk chocolate chips.
  7. Let stand 2 to 3 minutes until chips melt. Spread melted chips over the bars. Cut into 2-inch squares.
  8. Serve warm or cool.
  9. Yields 35 (2-inch) bars.
