Peanutbutter Cake
- Peanut Butter Cake
- 1/2 C peanut butter (smooth)
- 1 stick butter
- 1 C water
- 1/2 C Cooking Oil
- Put above in a pot and bring to a boil - set aside.
- In a mixing bowl put: 1/2 C milk---2 eggs---1 tsp. vanilla---2 Cups Sugar & Mix lightly.
- Measure 2 C All Purpose flour & 1 tsp. Soda in a small bowl.
- Alternate the peanut butter mixture with the flour mixture. Mix well.
- Bake in 10 1/2 X 15 1/2 X 1" Sweet Roll Pan for approx. 25 minutes. Test with a tooth pick. Let cool for at least 15 minutes but still warm.
- Peanut Butter Icing
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 C Peanut Butter
- 1/3 C Milk
- Put in a pot, bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add 1 tsp. Vanilla and 1 lb. Box Conf. Sugar.
- Mix until smooth (I use a hand mixer). Spread on warm cake while icing is still warm too.
- (You can bake this in a 9 X 13 pan but you have to let it bake about 10 minutes longer.
