Chili Cheesecake(Servings: About 8)

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Combine chips and butter; press into bottom of greased spring-form pan (9-inch).
  3. Bake 10 minutes and cool.
  4. In processor, combine cream cheese and Monterey Jack.
  5. With motor running, add eggs one at a time.
  6. Add sour cream.
  7. Turn off processor and add chilies and picante sauce.
  8. Pulse to mix well. Pour into crust.
  9. Place pan on a baking sheet and bake 40 minutes. Garnish with fresh herbs, diced red and yellow peppers or whatever you prefer.
  10. Ground nuts work well, also.
  11. Serve with a good cracker or pita chips.
