Italian Meatballs With Spaghetti Pasta
- This only prepares 15 meatballs, so not a full serving.
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 pd. ground chuck
- 1/4 pound mild/sweet Italian sausage, remove casing
- 1/4 parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese
- 2 Tbsp. parsley freshly chopped
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves chopped
- 3/4 salt
- ground black pepper
- 1 1/4 oil for frying
- 2 cups mozzarella for topping and baking
- Basil for topping after baked
- Blend all, fry for 10 minutes to brown continuously turning. Bake in oven at 30 until center in 160 degrees, about 30 minutes. Add mozzarella for last 10 minutes. Do not over cook since the meatballs will be in a warming oven until served. Sprinkle heavily with freshly chopped basil. Serve room temp.
