General Tso'S Cauliflower
- 3-3.5 cups raw cauliflower florets
- 4 tbsp gluten-free all purpose flour
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp. tamari
- 3 tbsp. sherry
- 3 tbsp. red wine vinegar
- 3 tbsp raw honey or maple syrup
- 3 cloves fresh garlic minced
- 1/2 tbsp chili paste
- Green onions and toasted sesame seeds for garnish
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Place cauliflower and olive oil in large ziplock bag and shake, add flour gradually, shaking as you go. No visible flour. Keep moist.
- Drizzle olive oil in glass baking dish. Add cauliflower . Back 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
- Meanwhile, combine water, tamari, sherry,, and vinegar in small sauce pan on low heat. When warm, add honey, garlic, and chili paste. Simmer on medium low heat until sauce thickens.
- Add 2/3 of sauce to cauliflower. Stir. and broil 5/10 minutes until sizzling.
- Add remainder of sauce.and garnish.
