Shrimp Chillie Fry
- Shrimp- 1 lb
- Cilantro- 2 Tblsp (5-6 sprigs)
- Onion - 2 medium, cut fine
- Tomato - 1 medium cut in small pieces
- Green chillies/peppers- 2-3
- Red chillie powder- 1 tsp
- Corriander powder- 1 tsp
- Cumin powder- 1 tsp
- Paprika powder- 1 tsp
- Black pepper - 1/4 tsp
- Salt - 1/4 tsp (to taste)
- Ginger- 1 tsp paste
- Garlic - 1 tsp paste
- Peel, wash and cut the shrimp into bite size pieces.Set aside. Heat 1 Tblsp of oil in a pan and fry onions until they are golden brown. Now add the tomatoes and fry for 5 minutes. Now add all the spices with the ginger and garlic and fry for 1 min. Next add the shrimp and green chillies and fry for ten minutes until the shrimp are totally cooked. You may add 1/4 cup of water to create a gracvy. Serve on a warm bed of basmati rice. Enjoy.
