Calzone
- 2 layers pizza dough for 12-14-inch pan
- 4 chicken breasts
- 3 italian sausage links
- 1 large green pepper, sliced into thin slices
- 2 leeks, trimmed and sliced into 1/4 inch pieces
- 16 oz. swiss cheese, grated
- 16 oz. sharp cheddar cheese, sliced into 1/4 x 3-inch pieces
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/3 c. olive oil
- fennel seed
- salt
- lemon juice
- Mix garlic and olive oil together and let set for 15 minutes. Steam chicken breast until cooked through.
- Cool.
- Remove meat, shred or cut into small pieces.
- Set aside. Slice sausage links into 1/4 inch thick pieces and saute in pan until done.
- Remove from pan and set on paper towel to absorb fat.
- Steam green pepper and leeks together.
