Guadalajara Burgers
- FOR BURGER PATTIES
- 1.5 lb. Premium ground beef
- (with at least 20% fat)
- 2 tsp. Ground cumin
- 2 tsp. Ground smoked paprika
- 1 tsp. Ground coriander
- 1 tsp. Fresh cracked black pepper
- Sea salt to taste
- FOR BURGER CONDIMENTS
- 8 strips Bacon
- 1/2 cup Sour Cream
- 1 Tomato
- 1/2 Onion
- 1/2 bunch Cilantro
- 1 Lime
- 1 Chipotle
- 4 slices Monterey Jack Cheese
- 1 Avocado
- 4 Brioche buns
- Prepare Burger Condiments First
- Bacon -
- Put 8 slices of bacon in oven at 375
- degrees for 25 minutes or until crisp
- Sour Cream -
- Add finely chopped chipotle pepper
- to 4 ounces of sour cream and mix.
- Pico De Gallo -
- Dice one tomato, half medium
- onion, half bunch of cilantro, add the
- juice of one lime and season with salt
- and pepper
- Slice Monterey Jack Cheese
- Avocado - Sliced or Mashed and
- tossed with lime juice salt and pepper
- Brioche buns - Grilled
- For burger patties add all ingredients except salt into work bowl and mix. Divide into four equal patties and season both sides with salt and grill.

- Bottom bun
- Avocado
- Burger
- Cheese
- Bacon
- Pico de Gallo
- Sour cream
- Top bun
- Options
- Add Serrano/Jalapeno pepper to Pico de Gallo
- Switch Cheese to Pepper Jack
- Use Peppered Bacon
- Butter buns before toasting
- Tip: Dont use lean ground beef and don't press down on the burger when grilling! (This results in a dry burger)
