Minnesota Soup

  1. 1.) In a med. stock pot, cook bacon over med. heat until translucent, then drain fat. In the same pan, cook sausage over med. heat until brown, then drain fat.
  2. 2.) Add all of the ingredients EXCEPT the ditalini to the pot and bring to a simmer.
  3. 3.) After 1.75 h, remove from heat and add the ditalini while still hot.
