Chocolate Pecan Pie

  1. In 350u0b0F oven, toast pecans on baking sheet for 4 minutes.
  2. Remove.
  3. Raise temp. to 375u0b0F.
  4. In small pan over low heat, stir butter and chocolate until melted, about 1 minute.
  5. In mixing bowl, lightly beat eggs.
  6. Blend in molasses, corn syrup, sugar, vanilla and salt.
  7. Stir in chocolate mixture and then pecans.
  8. Spoon mixture into piecrust and bake until filling is set, 45-50 minutes.
  9. Cool and serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
