Turkey Meatballs
- ==seasoning==
- 1 t. salt
- 1 t. onion powder
- 1 t. garlic powder
- 1 t. dry mustard
- 1/2 t. paprika
- 1/2 t. cinnamon
- 1/2 t. nutmeg
- 1/4 t. white pepper
- 1/4 t. cayenne
- 1/8 t. ground star anise
- 1/8 t. ground cloves
- ===meatballs==
- 1 T. olive oil
- 1/2 c diced onions
- 1 T. grated ginger
- 1 lb. ground turkey
- 1 1/2 T. soy
- 1/4 c. chicken stock
- 3/4 c. unseasoned bread crumbs
- 1/4 c. evaporated skim milk
- Combine seasonings.
- Pour oil in non-stick pan and heat to 400 over High heat @ 5 mins.
- Add onions, ginger and sprinkle w/ 1 T. of seasoning & stir. Saute until onions are clear, cool.
- Combine onions and ginger w/ remeaining ingredients including rest of seasonings. Refridgerate overnight.
- Preheat 10" skillet over high heat to 400 degrees @ 5 mins. Preaheat ovenn to 350 degrees. Brown meatballs, coat pan w/ veg spray & put meatballs in and bake 30 mins.
