Mom'S Cocktail Meatballs
- Meatballs:
- 3/4 pound Hamburger
- 1/4 pound Ground Pork
- 1 cup Dry Bread Crumbs
- 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 2 Garlic Cloves, chopped fine
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 2 Eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/8 teaspoon Pepper
- 1 cup Minced Onion
- For Sauce:
- 1/4 cup Minced Onion
- 2 Tablespoon Margarine
- 1/2 cup Chile Sauce
- 4 ounces Tomato Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Dry Mustard
- 1 teaspoon Yellow Mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon Worchestershire Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
- 1 Dash Tobasco
- Meatballs:
- Combine all ingredients for meatballs except minced onion. Shape into small balls. Pan fry in hot oil to which onion has been added.
- Sauce:
- Cook onion slowly in butter - not brown. Stir in remaining ingredients and simmer gently about 10 minutes. Pour over drained meatballs.
- Serve in heated server with toothpicks
