Lasagna

  1. Saute onion, garlic and beef until brown.
  2. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, salt, basil, sugar, pepper and bay leaf and simmer uncovered about 1 1/2 hours.
  3. Remove bay leaf.
  4. Spread 1/2 cup meat sauce in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan, starting with noodles. Make 3 layers, each of noodles, cottage cheese, Mozzarella cheese, meat sauce and Parmesan.
  5. Bake at 325u0b0 for 45 minutes.
