Spaghetti Sauce
- 1 large can tomato juice (46 oz)
- 1 large can whole tomatos (put in blender)
- 2 large cans tomato paste
- 2 tsp oregano
- 2 tsp basil
- 2 tsp parsley
- 2 pinches rosemary
- 3/4 tsp red pepper
- 3 cloves garlic (pressed)
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 large package fresh mushrooms chopped
- 1 green pepper (whole)
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1. In blender combine tomatoes, spices garlic, salt, pepper, cheese and honey and blend until smooth.
- 2. Add all remaining ingredients in large pot and cook slowly for 3 hours.
- 3. Add 2 lbs group beef or turkey and package italian sausage browned at end of cooking time (optional).
- Freezes well
