Fresh Tuna With Sesame, Ginger & Coriander Noodles
- 2 x 200g packs 2 tuna steaks
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 2cm piece fresh root ginger, peeled & grated
- 250g pack fine egg noodles, cooked & cooled
- 20g pack fresh coriander, chopped
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds, lightly toasted
- Place the tuna in a shallow dish with the sesame oil, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar & ginger. Mix well & leave to marinate for 10 minutes.
- Preheat the grill or BBQ to a moderate setting, cook for 5-6 minutes each side. Alternatively, pan-fry for 3-4 minutes each side, or to taste.
- Mix together the cooked noodles, coriander & sesame seeds. Serve the tuna on a bed of the noodles, & drizzle with a little extra soy sauce & sesame oil if desired.
