Virtue Cider Michigan Honey And Apricot Warm Brie En Croute
- 4 tablespoons Apricot Preserves
- 1/4 cup Virtue Cider Michigan Honey
- 1/8 teaspoon Salt
- 1 sheet Puff Pastry
- 1 tablespoon Cranberries, Dried
- 1 tablespoon Walnuts, Toasted
- 1 Brie Cheese Wheel
- 1 Egg
- 1 teaspoon Water
- Preheat oven to 365 degrees F
- To create the apricot glaze, in a small saucepan, combine apricot preserves, Virtue Cider Michigan Honey, and salt. Reduce slightly until thickened and cool to room temperature
- For the assembly, roll out a sheet of puffed pastry until it can wrap around the wheel of cheese
- Place cheese wheel in the center, add glaze to the top along with walnuts and cranberries
- Wrap the pastry around the brie, ensuring the wheel is completely encased
- Whisk the egg and water together to create an egg wash and brush the outside of the pastry with egg wash
- Bake 25-30 minutes, or until puffed pastry is golden; serve immediately with crackers and apples
