Wild Rice Baron

  1. Gently cook rice, water and 2 teaspoons salt (covered) for 45 minutes.
  2. Drain.
  3. Brown beef.
  4. Rinse mushrooms; cut tips off stems. Slice and saute with onion and celery in butter 5 to 10 minutes. Combine soy sauce, sour cream, salt and pepper.
  5. Add cooked rice, beef, onion, mushrooms and celery mixture and almonds.
  6. Toss lightly.
  7. Place in 3-quart casserole.
  8. Bake at 350u0b0 for 1 hour, uncovered.
  9. Add water, if needed.
  10. Season to taste.
  11. Stir several times and garnish with few almonds.
  12. Serves 12 to 16.
