Family Lasagne
- 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
- 1/2 package (or more) of turkey pepperoni
- 1 onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 24 ounces tomato sauce
- 4 tsp. oregano
- 2 tsp. sweet basil
- 1 tsp. fennel seed
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 Tblspn. sugar
- 1 package no cook lasagne noodles
- 1 pint Ricotta cheese
- 1/2 to 1 lb Mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced
- Parmesan cheese
- In saucepan, brown ground beef, add onion & garlic. Simmer & add spices. Add tomato sauce. Cook pepperoni in microwave until crispy. Break up and add to sauce. Cook 30 minutes, stir now and then. In a 9 X 13 pan, arrange layers of noodles, Ricotta, meat sauce and mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle top with parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. Let stand 15 min. before serving.
