Chicken Tamale Pie

  1. Pan-boil chicken approximately 30 minutes or until tender with the garlic, cloves, onions, salt and basil.
  2. Remove chicken and take flesh from the bones.
  3. Strain the water the chicken was boiled in and save 2 cups for tamale mix.
  4. Chop chicken and onions (it was cooked with) and combine with chiles, olives, sugar, chili powder and salt to taste.
  5. Mix in sour cream.
  6. Place mixture in a casserole pan and top with grated cheese.
  7. (Preheat oven to 375u0b0.) Cook until top has browned.
