Cinnamon Rolls
- 2 1/2 C. Warm Water
- 2 T Yeast
- 3 T Sugar
- 3 t Salt
- 6 T Oil
- 6 C Flour
- 1 Cube Butter
- 4-5 C Power Sugar
- 1 T Vanilla
- Milk
- Wisk water and yeast
- If yeast is good add sugar, salt and oil
- Combine water (w/ other ingredients) and flour
- Put bowl in sink of warm water with damp towel over bowl.
- Every 10 minutes remove towel and stir (repeat 5 times)
- Knead flour into dough keeping moist but not sticky
- Cut dough in half and roll out on floured counter.
- Spread melted butter with cinnamon/sugar mix on rolled out dough and add raisins and walnuts.
- Roll up dough and cut into rolls (repeat w/ second heap of dough)
- Preheat over to 200 and turn off. Put rolls on cookie sheets in over and let rise until rolls are firm to touch (but not dried out)
- Remove rolls and preheat over to 375 and cook rolls 15-20 minutes
- Melt cube of butter and add 1 T vanilla and power suger.
- Add milk until desired consistency is achieved.
- Spread over warm cinnamon rolls
