Parmesan-Topped Breadsticks

  1. 1. Add the dough ingredients to the bread machine in the order given, and set to first rise.
  2. 2. When this has finished, roll the dough out into a rectangle which is 1/2-3/4 inch thick.
  3. 3. Place in a 9x13 pan and let proof until doubled.
  4. 4. Meanwhile, stir the topping ingredients (except the olive oil) together with the Parmesan cheese.
  5. 5. Brush the bread sticks heavily with olive oil.
  6. 6. Sprinkle with the half of the Parmesan blend.
  7. 7. Bake the bread sticks at 350 for 12 to 15 minutes until golden.
  8. 8. Remove from oven and finish topping the bread sticks with the Parmesan blend and cut lengthwise into strips about 1 1/8 inch thick.
