Turkey Burgers Or Meatballs
- 1 lb. ground turkey meat
- 1 1/2 cup yellow or red onion-diced
- 2-3 cloves garlic-minced
- 1/2 large carrot-diced
- 1 stalk celery-diced
- 1/2 cup mushrooms-diced
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup chicken stock
- 1/4 cup Italian breadcrumbs

- Chop all the vegetables as instructed. For faster results use a food processor.
- Combine the onion, garlic, carrot, celery and mushrooms with the ground turkey meat. S&P to taste. Add the egg and the chicken stock to the meat mixture, and continue to combine. (Add breadcrumbs, if used).
- Score the meat into quarters for patties or roll into meatballs sized with a tablespoon.
- Can make up to 4-6 patties, or 10-12 meatballs.
- For Meatballs: Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees. Place all pre-rolled meatballs in an oven proof saute pan. Once oven is preheated bake for about 20 minutes.
- For Burgers: Cook on medium heat about 5-6 minutes on each side.
