- 1 1/3 cups butter or margarine
- 5 medium onions chopped fine
- 2 1/2 Tablespoon poultry seasoning
- 4 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons pepper
- 1 Cup chopped parsley
- 2 cups chopped celery
- 6 quarts of torn bread (about half inch pcs)
- 5 eggs
- About 2 or three Rome apples
- 1 cup dried cranberries soaked overnight in brandy (about 1 cup brandy)
- Combine first 7 ingredients and saute for about 5 mins
- Beat eggs in a bowl and add to bread in a large container. (I use a big pot). Add dices apples and cranberries with any excess brandy.
- Mix in cooked ingrediants and toss well.
- Loosley stuff the bird. Take left over stuffing and put in a roating pan. I put in oven with turkey when there is about two hours left of cooking time. Add some turkey juices every half hour or so.
