Mediterranean Casserole
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. green pepper
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1/2 c. catsup
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 oz. pkg. cream cheese (room temperature)
- 1/3 c. milk
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 6 oz. noodles, cooked, rinsed, and well drained
- 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- Brown beef in butter; add onion and green pepper and cook lightly.
- Blend in tomato soup, catsup, salt and pepper.
- Cook, uncovered, about 8 minutes.
- Stir several times.
- Blend cream cheese, milk, lemon juice, garlic salt and Worcestershire sauce; mix with noodles.
- Spread in a buttered glass baking dish.
- Pour meat sauce over top; sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes.
