Chocolate Chip Cheesecake With Chocolate Glaze Topping

  1. For pie:
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. With mixer, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in condensed milk until smooth. Add egg and vanilla. Mix well.
  3. Toss chocolate chips with flour; stir into cream cheese mixture. Pour into crust.
  4. Bake 35 minutes or until center springs back when lightly touched. Cool and top with galze. Serve chilled. Store leftovers covered in refrigerator.
  5. For Glaze:
  6. Melt 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips with 1/4 cup of whipping cream; cook and stir until thickened and smooth. Immediately spread over cheesecake.
  7. Tip: To prevent chocolate chips from sinking to the bottom add chips after baking cheesecake for a short period. Remove cheesecake from oven after 5-10 minutes, sprinkle chips over the pie and then continue to bake for the remainder of the time.
