Chocolate Snowflake Cookies
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 4 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. sifted powdered sugar
- Combine first 3 ingredients in large mixing bowl; beat at medium speed of electric mixer until blended.
- Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
- Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
- Add about 1/4 of dry mixture at a time to chocolate mixture, mixing after each addition.
- Cover and chill dough at least 2 hours. Shape dough into 1-inch balls; roll in powdered sugar.
- Place cookies 2-inches apart on aluminum foil lined cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 10 minutes.
- Slide aluminum foil gently off baking sheet and let cool.
- Yields 8 dozen.
