The Best Vegetarian Chili
- 1 28oz. can Muir Glen Fire Roasted Tomatoes
- 1 can vegetarian baked beans
- 1 can black beans
- 4 oz. Ortega Taco Sauce (medium)
- 8 oz. of V8
- 1/2 pkg. Lightlife chili flavored textured vegetable protein (TVP)
- 1/2 Two Alarm Chili Kit
- 2 cups frozen corn
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1/2 onion
- 2 carrots
- 1 zucchini
- 1 small bunch brocolli
- 2 tbsp olive oil, or vegetable broth for sauteeing onion and garlic
- Sautee onion and garlic for 5 min. using olive oil or vegetable broth, add TVP, sautee another 5 min. Add beans (drain liquid from black beans, and wash them) and tomato products, veggies, and 1/2 the amount of each of the packages of every spice in 2 Alarm Chili Kit (DO NOT USE ANY OF THE MASA). Cook on the lowest heat possible using a diffuser for at least two hours.
