Chocolate-Blueberry Dessert Squares
- 1 (8 1/2 oz.) pkg. chocolate wafers, crushed
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
- 2 egg whites
- 2 c. sifted powdered sugar
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1 (21 oz.) can blueberry pie filling (Wilderness)
- 1 c. chopped pecans, divided
- 1 1/2 c. whipping cream
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- Combine cookie crumbs and butter, stirring well.
- Press into bottom of ungreased 9-inch square pan.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 10 minutes.
- Beat egg whites (at room temperature) until foamy. Gradually add powdered sugar, beating until blended.
- Add cream cheese and beat until smooth.
- Spread mixture evenly over crust; top with pie filling and sprinkle with 3/4 cup pecans.
