Potato And Salami Casserole With Cheese
- 6 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 4 c. milk
- 4 c. grated sharp cheese
- 10 medium size cooked potatoes, cut into 1/2-inch slices
- 8 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
- 1 lb. salami, sliced and cut in half
- Melt
- butter in small saucepan over medium heat.
- Blend in flour,
- salt
- and pepper.
- Add milk slowly.
- Cook and stir until smooth
- and
- thickened.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in the cheese. Arrange
- half
- of
- the
- potatoes in a greased 3 quart casserole dish.
- Add a layer of eggs, then a layer of salami. Cover with about
- half of the cheese sauce.
- Repeat layering. Bake in moderate
- oven
- at
- 350u0b0 for about 20 minutes or until browned and bubbly.
- Makes 8 servings.
