Sweet & Spicy Baked Shrimp Tacos
- Spice Mixture
- 1/3 c sugar
- 3T firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 T all purpose flour
- 2 T plain breadcrumbs
- 1/2 t ground allspice
- 1/2 t coarse black pepper
- 1/2 t ground red pepper
- 1/2 t garlic powder
- 1/4 t ground ginger
- Shrimp
- 1/4 c unsalted butter, melted
- 1 1 lb pkg thawed its not shrimp
- Sauce
- 1/2 c sour cream
- 1 T lime juice
- 2 t chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/2 t chili powder
- Tacos
- 16 6 in corn tortillas, warmed
- 2 c coleslaw mix
- Heat oven to 500. Line baking sheet w aluminum foil.
- Combine all spice mix ingredients in a plastic bag. Dip shrimp in butter then in spice mix. Place onto prepared baking dish. Baked 5-6 min or until bubbly.
- Combine all sauce ingredients in bowl. To assemble stack 2 warmed tortilla onto each individual serving plate. Top with 1/8 baked shrimp and 1/4 c coleslaw mix. Drizzle with sauce.
