Pear Tart With Almonds
- 1 Pie Crust
- 3 Pears
- 3 Tablespoons flour
- 1/4 Cup Splenda/Sugar mixture
- 1/4 Tsp nutmeg
- lemon juice
- 2 Tablespoons butter cut into small cubes
- Sliced almonds
- Line tart pan with pie crust making sure sides are high enough not to shrink too much. Bake at 400 degrees for 5 min. (can use pie weights or rice if desired).
- Peal and slice pears into 1/4 inch slices. Dip in lemon juice. Mix together flour, Splends/Sugar mixture & nutmeg. Add pears and mix. Arrange pear slices in a decorative pattern if desired on pie crust. Add butter cubes around top and sprinkle almonds on top of pears. Cover loosely with foil, bake at 400 degrees for 1 hour or until pears are soft. (Optional - add golden raisins with the almonds.) 6 to 8 servings Serve warm with ice cream if desired.
