Sweet Potato Casserole
- 3 or 4 large sweet potatoes
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla flavoring
- 1 c. milk
- large marshmallows
- corn flakes
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- butter
- Boil the 3 to 4 potatoes in their own jackets.
- Cook until tender.
- Cool and peel.
- Mash with 1 stick butter.
- Add 1/2 cup brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla and milk.
- Put half of mixture in buttered dish.
- Put large marshmallows over layer.
- Push down into mixture.
- Add the rest of mixture.
- Put marshmallows over top and push down.
- Put corn flake crumbs, ground faint, in food chopper. Add 1/4 cup brown sugar and sprinkle on top with butter.
- Bake at 375u0b0 until brown.
